I've been reading this myself - you are right, things always get explained more than once, but I didn't find it too annoying. I'm actually finding this book to be a lot better than I had imagined. I like being pleasantly surprised by books!

Wonderful review. You made very valid points. I didn't notice the "repeats", and that is something that usually drives me crazy. I have a feeling Tucker is going to reappear a lot in the later novels - either reformed, or seeking pay-back.
