It's movie trailer week! Kind of. It just so happens that we did a post a couple of days ago about the battling Snow White movies - SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN and MIRROR, MIRROR - and the MIRROR, MIRROR trailer wasn't available. But it is now!
It actually looks fantastic. Weird, beautiful, and hysterical! Julia Roberts is amazing!
And, fun fact...Both Alex Pettyfer and James McAvoy tried out for the part of Prince Charming, but Armie Hammer (he played the twins in THE SOCIAL NETWORK) beat them out!
We're big fans of both of them - they are two of the recurring Prince Charmings in Alyssa's dreams - and would have been happy with either. But Armie it is, and hopefully MIRROR, MIRROR will be as good as it looks! Release is March 2012.

I can not wait. While the other one looks exciting, this one looks like such fun and the trailer makes me smile and smile.
Side note: They turned down Alex (too hot for his own good) and James (my man James)? Whoa.
Where did you get the information about Alex Pettyfer and James McAvoy auditioning for this? I have never seen either of their names mentioned in conjuction with this film.
The preview for Snow White and the Huntsman looked good, but this movie looks like it could be the better one of the two. Either way, I want to see both. :)

Alex is hotter but Armie's definitely the better actor. I think.
This doesn't look half bad though a bit hokier than I expected. However Julia Roberts does look absolutely hilarious. I'm not a huge fan of hers but she looks great in this. :)
This one is so much more fun and lighthearted...think I'll probably end up seeing both anyways.

I think I'm a little in love with Julia Roberts in that preview! She's such an adorable and funny evil queen:) I like how different this one and the Kristen Stewart one look despite being based on the same story. Thanks for sharing the preview!

I'm a Julia Roberts fan, so I'll watch just about anything with her in it! Also, for some reason, Lily Collins' eyebrows bug the crap out of me in this trailer. For the life of me, I can't seem to figure out why though...
Oooh that makes it look a lot better than I thought it would be. I wasn't expecting humor and for Snow White to be the leader of a group of bandits! Fun!
I'm actually on the fence about both these movies--the each have strengths as well as weaknesses, IMHO. Kinda wish I could squish them together and make one Snow White movie of awesomeness, rather than have what I feel will be two ho-hum movies.

Oh this looks great! I'm confused. Are there two or three Snow White movies coming out. I'm not sure about the Kristen Stewart one. She's just not that versatile as an actress. I have never seen her play anything but the same character over and over and over. But this looks fabulous and I love Julia Roberts!
