We're happy to be part of Sherry Soule's blog tour for her upcoming debut BEAUTIFULLY BROKEN coming out July 1st! She's graciously agreed to answer some life-altering questions!

1. Give us the Twitter version (140 characters or less) of BEAUTIFULLY BROKEN.

Teen witch works at haunted house where she meets cute boy. She decides it's her destiny and duty to find out what is causing the mystical disappearances in her hometown.

2. What’s your favorite scene from BEAUTIFULLY BROKEN?

Where the two main characters actually meet for the first time. It takes place at night with ghosts, a wraith, shadows and has some great snarky dialogue.

3. Tell us about the romance in BEAUTIFULLY BROKEN.

The romance is really the backstory to the main plot. Trent and Shiloh do manage to fall in love despite the craziness and death around them. Yet it does put a damper on things…

4. What have been the highlights and/or biggest surprises on your road to publication?

The fantastic online community of reviewers and book bloggers (like you guys).The support and enthusiasm has been invaluable.

5. As a former editor what are some of the most common mistakes you see writers make?

Each writer has their own weaknesses and strengths. For some writers it is adding too much backstory or too much telling instead of showing.

6. What supernatural phenomenon do you believe in or wish was real?

Vampires and magick. 

7. Who are your favorites from the following television pairs?

Hey! That’s not fair. Super tough questions! You can’t make a girl pick. If I have to pick my favs in order, it would be:

 SUPERNATURAL – Sam and Dean Winchester?  

 Number 1 (They are just so dang funny and cute)

VAMPIRE DIARIES – Stefan and Damon?  

 Number 2 (Both are super smoldering and hot)

 TRUE BLOOD – Eric and Bill?   

Number 3 (These guys ooze sexy and hotness)

8. If you could go back in time to change something in history. Where would you travel to, what would you change and what three literary characters are you taking with you? 

Another tough question. Well, I am part Native American, so I guess I would go back in time and try to help the American Indians. I’d take Zoey Redbird, Buffy Summers, and Jacob Black!
