I loved Wes Bentley in American Beauty - I can't wait to see him in the movie.
When my 11 yo saw a picture of Jennifer, his first comment was, "That's not Katniss. She wasn't blond." He'll be happy now. :)

I haven't read the series in a while, but isn't Haymitch supposed to be quite a bit older? That is what keeps bugging me when I see the casting, I pictured him older like in his seventies. Maybe I made that up and it just stuck with me though.
Jill: I'd have to check but I thought he was more late 40's to 50's. Harrelson can certainly look haggard so hopefully it will be good!
I quite like Hugh Dancy as Cinna, but that's only because he's the only name I've heard linked with Cinna. (:

Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss look is a lot better than I first expected.
LOVE. I was iffy on Jennifer, but she looks great there. And Woody Harrelson looks perfect for the part; he has the quirky, kind of drunk look down, and wrinkles really aren't hard to add with makeup.
I love how Jennifer looks as Katniss now, I wasn't sure about her when she was blond - she didn't seem to be as tough as Katniss is supposed to be, but I love that EW cover! And Stanley Tucci is the perfect pick for Caesar:)

While I had been rooting for Robbie D.Jr to be Haymitch, I'm so happy that Woody is actually going to be him! I think he is even better than RDJ and can't wait to see him in the movie!
I really wanted Hugh Laurie as Haymitch, but Woody Harrelson is a great pick too (and one I would never have thought of)... Stanley Tucci is a great pick too!
