From the Back Cover:
The Tales of Beedle the Bard, A wizarding classic, first came to Muggle readers' attention in the book known as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Now, thanks to Hermione Granger's new translation from the ancient runes, we present this stunning edition with an introduction, notes and illustrations by J.K.Rowling, and the extensive commentary by Albus Dumbledore.
Never before have Muggles been privy to these richly imaginative tales: "The Wizard and the Hopping Pot," "The Fountain of Fair Fortune," "The Warlock's Hairy Heart," "Babbitty Rabbitty and Her Cackling Stump," and of course, "The Tale of the Three Brothers." But not only are they the equal of fairy tales we now know and love, reading them gives new insight into the world of Harry Potter.
What can we say...we love all thing Harry Potter and that includes this little treasure. The five fairy tales are full of good lessons about friendship, and true magic - the love and kindness within the human heart. The commentaries from Dumbledore are a fun touch. But even better are the inclusion of historical backstory about the magical world of Harry Potter.

Oh Harry Potter, how I miss you so. This book is cute!
Oh thats cool
After Harry Potter I'm afraid to read anything from Ms Rowling in case it doesn't live up to expectations. Your review makes it sound marvelous though!
I got a copy of this a couple of days after it came out, I looove Harry Potter! Except mine has the different version of the cover (blue/gray). I love all the tales in it and the commentaries by Dumbledore are great. You've inspired me to go re-read this now! =)
Very cool. I've never read this.
I've been wary of reading this, afraid that it would taint the perfectness of the Harry Potter series. Maybe I should check it out after all.
You know, I actually quit the Harry Potter series half way... :/
I thought the tales were cute but I most enjoyed Dumbledore's comments.
I loved this, especially Dumbledore's comments. I don't like the US covers for the series though.
I thought about getting this book once but then I saw the price tag on it and didn't think it was worth the money..now if I won it that might be different..LOL
Aww sounds fun :D
I must ask if my HP loving friend has read it, surely she has
Interesting and since it's HP fairy tales I'd love to read it. :)
awwww man i still need to read the series...I've only read book 1 *sigh* But I know I NEED to read 'em!!!
I really enjoyed reading this book
Oh, I really need to read Rowling! I can't believe that I haven't yet! Yikes!
another JK Rowling's books ? i need to re-read all the series then and watch those movies again !
I wish she would write a Harry Potter: the later years.
this book was so cute, wasn't it!
I read the whole Harry Potter Series but haven't read this yet. Sounds like I should add it to my muggle library
I read this one last year... short, but oh so good!
I read this one! Loved it!
I'm a Harry Potter fan but for some reason I passed this up. I'll have to fix that!
This sounds really good I think I will have to check it out!!
Harry Potter fix! Very cool that JK wrote this :)
The only HP book I haven't read yet!
Hmm... maybe I should read the HP series first? lol
Thanks! I have this but have been putting off reading it. I think I will read it soon now.
I've read this but didn't enjoy it as much as the HP series
I LOVE Harry Potter but I still have to finish the last book in the series, AND this one.
I own The Tales of Beedle and Bard, but for some reason I never read it. I think I was just so upset that the HP series ended, that I didn't want to read something from that world that wouldn't include Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
:D Nikki
I love Harry Potter but have not read this book. I was just so sad when the series ended...
